Hello and welcome to the Radiant Soul Podcast and your weekly dose of soul shots. These are five minute episodes that give your soul a quick pick me up when it needs it, because you are a beautiful, radiant soul, and sometimes you just need a reminder.

 

Hi, and welcome to this Soul Shots! Episode, I'm recording this with my cat on my lap.

 

We're gonna see how well this goes, but otherwise I'm never gonna get it done. But I was walking down road and I saw a poster and it said, Find your center. And it was an advertisement for a meditation thing. And I wanted to talk about like, well, what is that? What is finding your center? What does that mean?

 

How can we do it? And , what are the ways that, you know, we can do that? Like what is it? What does it really mean? And. , when we talk about finding our center, like we have all had those experiences where  we are in the eye of the storm and we are calm. We're able to just drop back in and there's a very, very visceral feeling between finding one's center, which is really finding one's self again, finding one's calm, finding silence, stillness in amongst the chaos that is around us or the, you know, whatever it is, the drama, the cat walking around your computer. Um, and it's this ability to just settle and let go of everything. And it's a bit like a surrender, but it isn't like a full surrender. It is just like a dropping back, dropping into one's self, coming home to one's self.

 

And that's what being in one's center means. Finding one's center. And this is a really helpful thing, right? Because. When it comes to your vibrational frequency,  dropping back into one's center, finding one's center is everything. It really is everything. And it is as simple as that. And it can just be when your mind is all over the place or you're feeling all of the feelings, and life is just bubbling up on the surface and you can't really control it.

 

And you're trying desperately to be all calm,  and, and have a good vibration. It's bullshit. You're never gonna do that. But what you can do,  is just come back to center. its just take yourself to the bathroom. You know? It's a perfect place, right? No one's gonna come and disturb you normally. I mean, my kid always disturbs me, or my cat does, but you can just drop back in and it's just finding that moment of stillness where you just let things go.

 

You just let go of the worry and you come out of the drama. It's like stepping out of the drama. And then you get to see the drama, you get to witness it from afar, which is present awareness. Right? And that's all that finding your center means. And it's a really simple and easy little trick to do.

 

And it's a powerful, powerful tool because often when we talk about vibrational alignment, it's not that you have to feel a certain way, it's just that you have to give your focus and your attention not to the drama in front of us. , but to that state of presence and awareness, and only then can you come at a problem and solve it.

 

You know, you, you can't solve a problem in the same state that you created it. And so that's all it is. And so bringing yourself into vibrational alignment isn't this whole like, you know, gotta be happy, gotta be positive, gotta put this spin on things, that's bullshit. It's just coming back to center, dropping out of the drama, dropping out of the chaos.

 

Just finding that stillness within, even if it's just for like three seconds, letting go of all thought for three seconds and it's just a little pocket of peace. And if you can do this as many times through the day as you can remember, again, it's like all of these things just remind us, Help. Like really fine tune your frequency.

 

So that  you then become invincible. You become this  powerful God self because you're not being hit, swayed, knocked back. You know, you're not, you're not literally being buffeted by what's showing up in life. You're actually just being able to be aware of it and move through it with elegance and grace.

 

So that's what finding your center is, and I invite you to have a go with it. Play with it, find, feel into what feels like center to you, and you'll know when you find it because it's peaceful and it's still, and it's quiet and it's calm. So have a lovely day.
